BO DOLL JOINS DUREX PRODUCTS AS SOUTH-CENTRAL REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

LUCK, WISCONSIN – Durex Products Inc., a leading manufacturer of premium wire, polyurethane, and rubber screen media technologies, is pleased to announce its recent hire of Bo Doll, who joins as a Regional Sales Manager covering the south-central United States.

Based in Dallas, Texas, Doll will work with the company’s south-central dealers — including Excel Machinery LTD; Harman & Associates, Inc.; and Construction & Aggregate Products (CAP) — to generate new business and maintain the current customer base.

Following his father Bob Doll’s footsteps, Bo Doll comes to Durex with six years of experience in the aggregate, mining, and metals industry, having worked for Major Wire, Wirtgen America, and McCourt Equipment. In addition, Doll holds a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Southeastern Louisiana University, and has a strong background in sales, account management, retail, and customer service.

“We are pleased to have Bo join our sales team,” says Chad Hackett, Durex Products President. “With his prior sales experience in aggregate equipment — especially screen media — and combining that with his history of success in dealer and customer relations, we feel he is an ideal fit for us.”

“I’m very excited to be joining the Durex family,” says Doll. “I look forward to getting to work and bringing my enthusiasm for the screening process to new and existing customers.”

DUREX PRODUCTS CUSTOM WEAR LINERS – LINED TO PERFECTION

LUCK, WISCONSIN – Durex Products, Inc., based in Luck, Wisconsin, offers a number of custom wear-resistant urethane, urethane-ceramic, rubber, and rubber-ceramic liner solutions that provide long-term protection for equipment. Examples include wear liners for mainframes, feed boxes, side wear plates, discharge lips, cross supports, shafts, chutes, distributors, turnheads, and flumes.

Urethane-ceramic and rubber-ceramic liners are ideal for the harshest of wear areas, including turnheads, flop gates, high-impact areas, and belt transition areas. Rubber liners work well in dry, large-rock, and high-impact applications for areas including screen feed boxes, discharge lips, feed hoppers, and chutes. Urethane liners are long-lasting and flexible, and urethane is lighter than steel, allowing for easier handling and installation. Any necessary trimming can be performed in place with a sharp knife or reciprocating saw. Cutting steel in enclosed areas is considered a safety hazard and requires removing the liners for adjustment, which is time- consuming and cumbersome.

Durex liners will combat impact, abrasion, noise, and sticking, providing superior protection in the most severe conditions. Custom liners can be designed to suit any application. Based on customers’ needs, liners can be installed by welding, bolting, or with high-strength magnets.

Magnetic liners create a smooth wear surface, where other installation types may leave exposed bolt heads or plugged holes from the attachment process, which can accelerate wear due to a resulting direction change of material flow. Durex’s magnetic attachment system offers easy attachment to steel surfaces. The unique magnet design provides extremely strong magnetic attraction that will hold for both static and vibratory applications. This design also allows for the best placement of the magnets in a timely and cost-effective manner.

MODULAR URETHANE AND RUBBER SCREEN PANELS DESIGNED AND BUILT TO MATCH UNIQUE APPLICATIONS

LUCK, WISCONSIN – Durex Products, Inc., based in Luck, Wisconsin, now offers a complete line of modular urethane and rubber screen panels for wet and dry applications. Durex urethane and rubber modular screen media is easy to install and provides long wear life and elasticity in dry or damp conditions. Durex has developed specialized polymer formulas for high wear and abrasive applications. In addition, the company’s modular urethane and rubber panels feature tapered openings that are wider at the bottom. This advanced design reduces plugging and increases throughput.

Modular panels and fastening systems are available in Classic, 2000, Knock-In Bar, P-Pin, P-Pin Maxi, P-Snap, and P-Snap Maxi systems.

When it comes to urethane screen media, Durex’s years of experience in precision, open-cast manufacturing processes result in urethane screening products that provide unmatched quality and performance. Polyurethane is ideal for highly abrasive and dry or wet applications, providing much longer wear life than traditional wire screen media. Urethane offers excellent elasticity and impact absorption for increased screening efficiency. The product’s long life and excellent productivity lead to significant reduction in total operating costs for producers.

Rubber is ideal for abrasive or high-impact applications, such as prescreening large material or in feeds with considerable drop height. Rubber screens are known for their ability to dramatically reduce noise, making them an optimal choice for pre-screening, scalping, or primary screening. Resistance to plugging, along with less downtime from longer wear life, leads to increased production.

Durex offers a wide range of urethane screening products for stone, sand and gravel, dewatering, mining, and more. Panel options are offered with slot direction as parallel or right-angle to material flow (some variations are not available on every size).
