COST-EFFECTIVE, WEAR-REISTANT LINERS FOR CONCRETE PLANTS AND TRUCKS

LUCK, WISCONSIN – Durex Products, Inc., based in Luck, Wisconsin, introduces a complete line of wear liners for concrete plants and trucks. Durex has developed specialized polymer formulas for high wear and abrasive applications. When combined with Durex’s years of experience in precision, opencast manufacturing processes, the result is urethane wear liners that provide unmatched quality and performance to combat impact, abrasion, noise, and sticking. Durex offers standard liners, or the company can design and build customers a custom liner solution. Based on the customer’s needs, liners can be installed by welding, bolting, or with high-strength magnets.

For concrete plants, liners and wear parts are designed to fit common wear areas in most brands of plant

— including the central mix drum and blade liners, turn-head liners, hopper and bin liners, scale liners, and dump chute liners. For concrete trucks, Durex offers charge hopper liners designed to fit most brands. The company also builds urethane discharge bibs and drum wipers that greatly outperform the typical rubber products used in the industry today.

Urethane products are long-lasting and much lighter than steel, allowing for easier handling and installation. Any necessary trimming can be handled in place with a sharp knife or reciprocating saw. Steel does not allow cutting in enclosed areas, requiring removal of the liners for adjustment.

Drawing from years of field experience and an unparalleled dedication to customers’ and dealers’ needs, Durex also offers onsite training and support for installation of its concrete wear liner products.

With 55 years in business, Durex Products Inc. designs, manufactures, and markets wear parts and screen media, including polymer media in tensioned and modular versions and woven-wire cloth, for the aggregates, mining, recycling, and industrial industries. CUSTOM, COST-EFFECTIVE, WEAR-RESISTANT LINERS FOR AGGREGATE EQUIPMENT

LUCK, WISCONSIN – Durex Products, Inc., based in Luck, Wisconsin, now offers a full line of magnetic liner solutions, custom designed for aggregate plants. Durex has developed specialized polymer formulas for high wear and abrasive applications. When combined with Durex’s years of experience in precision, opencast manufacturing processes, the result is urethane wear liners that provide unmatched quality and performance to combat impact, abrasion, noise, and sticking in wet or dry applications, hot summers, and very cold winters.

Magnetic liners create a smooth wear surface, where other installation types may leave exposed bolt heads or plugged holes from the attachment process that could accelerate wear due to a resulting direction change of material flow. Durex’s magnetic attachment system offers easy attachment to steel surfaces. The unique magnet design provides extremely strong magnetic attraction that will hold for both static and vibratory applications. This design also allows for the best placement of the magnets in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Durex magnetic liners and parts are available in some standard sizes. Custom design services allow infinite options for shapes and sizes. The company’s designs are engineered specifically to each equipment piece for customized fit and optimal wearing.

Recommended lined applications include:

  • Static and vibratory chute
  • Rotary distributor/turnheads
  • Sand slurry flumes
  • Crusher mainframes
  • Feed boxes
  • Side wear plates on screen decks
  • Discharge lips
  • Cross supports between bucker bars and stringers
  • Shaft covers
  • Quick patches for worn-through high-wear areas
  • Inspection doors on machinery

In addition to urethane options, rubber and rubber/ceramic magnetic liners can be utilized and tailored for specific needs, such as shaft covers for vibrating equipment, crusher mainframe liners, chute liners, etc. Drawing from its years of field experience and an unparalleled dedication to  customers’ and dealers’ needs, Durex also offers onsite training and support for installation of its wear liner products.

BOOST PRODUCTIVITY AND IMPROVE WEAR LIFE WITH LIVEWIRE® SCREEN MEDIA

LUCK, WISCONSIN – Livewire® screen media from Luck, Wisconsin-based Durex Products, Inc., is a hybrid-type screen, featuring molded rubber strips that hold high-strength wires in place. Providing better screening action than traditional woven wire and greater open area than polyurethane, this screen media is designed to boost production by reducing costly, time-consuming blinding, plugging and pegging problems – while also delivering superior wear life.

Livewire screen media is available in tempered- or stainless-steel wires. Durex’s wire specifications provide ideal durability and strength, which permits the company to use lighter-gauge wire, allowing more openings per square foot of screening area. Its 60-durometer, compression-vulcanized rubber strips provide superior flexing action for self-cleaning capabilities. In addition, rubber strips deliver greater wear life in environmental conditions that may adversely affect thermoplastic polyurethane.

These rubber strips are available in four different sizes to match producers’ unique applications for large-particle or fine separation.

The Livewire line also features four different opening options: diamond-shaped, alternating “Z” and straight wire, herringbone, and straight wire slot openings for maximum output in a variety of dry or damp applications.

Durex Products Inc. has offered the company’s premium wire and polyurethane screen media technologies since 1965 — including its Urethane Modular Screen Panels, Armor®, Accuslot®, and Vibraspan® products.

With 55 years in business, Durex Products Inc. designs, manufactures, and markets wear parts and screen media, including polymer media in tensioned and modular versions and woven-wire cloth, for the aggregates, mining, recycling, and industrial industries.
